Nothing here can be bought yet

What SkyStudy costs, at each step of a pilot career

Getting selected, getting licensed, getting hired. Everything here is free while SkyStudy is in beta, some of it carries a price set for later, and nothing on the site can take a payment today.

No card is asked for anywhere on this site, because nothing on it can take one.

  1. 1Get selectedThe cognitive and psychomotor screening that airline and flight school selection runs first.Pilot aptitude tests
  2. 2Get licensedThe theory exams, the language proficiency check, and the radio work in between.ATPL question bank, ICAO English trainer, ATC communications simulator
  3. 3Get hiredThe application campaign, the interview, and the simulator assessment day.Pilot CV maker, Interview Room

The three that carry a one-time price

All three are open free while SkyStudy is in beta. The amount beside each one is the price set for the day it goes on sale. No date has been set for that day, and until it comes there is no way to pay for anything here.

SkyStudy Pilot CV Pro

For the weeks you are actually applying, when one CV becomes six.

€29

Planned price. Not available yet.

What is inside

  • Up to 50 named CV versions, one per airline, with a readable diff against your base CV
  • Cloud save, so the same CV is on your laptop and your phone
  • Advert match: paste a vacancy and see which of its stated requirements you already meet
  • DOCX, plain text and a portal answers pack for airline application forms
  • Expiry reminders for your ICAO English and type ratings
  • Two more printed layouts, font pairings, and US Letter page size

Who it is for

Pilots running an application campaign across several operators at once, who need each version and each expiry date to stay straight.

Who it is not for

Writing one CV once. The free builder already does that completely, with every template, the health check, the ATS X-ray and the PDF export, and it needs no account.

Open free while SkyStudy is in beta. Every part of it works today on any signed-in account, and it calls no metered service.

SkyStudy Interview Room

Practice for the airline interview and the simulator assessment day.

€79

Planned price. Not available yet.

What is inside

  • A spoken technical oral: EASA theory asked out loud, answered out loud, and marked against a written model answer
  • A spoken airline interview: the standard opening questions, behavioural questions on the EASA core competencies answered with STAR, and the questions to ask back
  • A written report at the end of a session, quoting your own words back as the evidence for what it says
  • Airline-specific preparation built only from employer profiles a human has verified
  • A sim assessment guide: what the day looks like, what is actually assessed, and how to prepare for it

Who it is for

Pilots with an interview or a sim assessment booked, or close enough to one to start preparing properly for it.

Who it is not for

Anyone looking for a prediction. Nothing here says what a specific airline will ask, and nothing here says anything about how a real selection will go.

The nine competencies, the verified employer profiles and the sim assessment guide are open free while SkyStudy is in beta. The two spoken rooms are not open yet: they call a paid model on every turn.

SkyStudy ICAO English Pro

The full aviation English course for ICAO proficiency levels 4 to 6.

€89

Planned price. Not available yet.

A launch price of €59 is also configured, for the day it opens.

What is inside

  • Full course: radiotelephony and plain-English tracks for ICAO levels 4 to 6
  • Accent listening bank: 194 listening exercises across 7 accent groups, every Pro exercise in a clean and a radio-degraded version
  • Speaking practice: interview prompts, 12 picture scenes with model answers, read-aloud drills
  • 124-card aviation vocabulary deck with spaced repetition
  • 3 test format modules: a walkthrough of each shape and a listening set sampled to it
  • 16 video lessons and a course completion certificate
  • The placement diagnostic, saved to your account with a study plan built around your weakest skill
  • AI mock interviews (25 sessions per account) with a per-criterion report that quotes your own words back as the evidence

Who it is for

Pilots facing an ICAO level 4 to 6 assessment who want a course to work through rather than a set of drills to dip into.

Who it is not for

It is not an assessment and it awards no level. Only an assessor approved by a competent authority can rate you, and native speakers are assessed too.

The course, the vocabulary deck and the placement diagnostic are open free while SkyStudy is in beta. The AI mock examiner is not open yet: it calls a paid model on every sitting.

The ATPL question bank subscription, still planned

The bank is free during the beta and it is not where the work is going right now. These are the plan lengths and the amounts published for after the beta. 6 months€119.94 total, €19.99 a month

Planned. Not available yet. The 3 longer plans are configured with a 7-day free trial for the day paid access starts. Planned prices are shown in EUR. Frequently asked questions

Can I buy anything on SkyStudy today?

No. Every purchase flow on the site is switched off, so there is nothing here that can take a payment. The amounts on this page are the prices that have been set for the day that changes, and no date has been set for it.

What does free while SkyStudy is in beta mean?

Free while SkyStudy is in beta, with no card and no trial. As individual tools mature some of them move to paid plans, and nothing that is free today starts charging without notice being published on this page first. Use while it was free is never billed retroactively.

Is the SkyStudy question bank really free right now?

Yes. The ATPL question bank is in beta and free to use. Create an account with no card and study across every subject.

Will the free tools stay free?

They are free while SkyStudy is in beta. It is a large library of pilot tools and a generous part of it is free, because that is how most people find the project at all. It is self-funded, so as individual tools mature they move to paid plans; which tools, and when, is not settled yet. Nothing that is free today starts charging without notice being published on that tool's page first, and use while it was free is never billed retroactively. Section 2.1 of the terms sets out how to read anything on this site that sounds like a promise about the future.

What happens when the ATPL paid plans launch?

Paid plans will unlock the full question bank, timed mock exams, spaced repetition, and offline study. The plan today is to keep a free tier with a limited number of questions per subject, but the shape of it is not settled yet and it is not something we guarantee indefinitely. What is settled: you choose whether to upgrade, nothing is charged automatically when the beta ends, and the terms are published here before they take effect.

Do the paid plans differ in features?

The whole-bank plans give the same full access to the whole platform and differ only by how long that access lasts, which is why the longer plans cost less per month. Single subject is the exception: it covers one subject for three months and nothing else.

Can I cancel, and do you offer refunds?

When paid plans go live you will be able to manage or cancel your plan at any time from the billing portal. Refund and EU withdrawal-right details are set out in the terms.

Still deciding? Ask us, we will reply as soon as practical to all questions.
