Quickest way: if the address bar shows a small Install icon (a little monitor with a down arrow), click it. No icon? Use the menu, shown next.
Install on any device
Pick your browser. Chrome, Edge, and Brave give the simplest one-tap install. Internet Explorer is not supported, use Edge or Chrome.
Chrome, Edge or Brave (computer)
- Quickest: click the install icon at the right of the address bar (a small monitor with a down-arrow), then click Install.
- No icon there? Open the browser menu at the top-right: three dots in Chrome and Edge, three lines in Brave.
- Chrome: choose 'Cast, save, and share'. Brave: choose 'Save and share'. Edge: choose 'Apps'.
- Then click 'Install SkyStudy ATPL' (in Edge, 'Install this site as an app') and confirm with Install. SkyStudy opens in its own window.
Android phone or tablet
- Open SkyStudy in Chrome, Edge, or Brave.
- Open the browser menu (three dots, top-right).
- Tap Install app or Add to Home screen, then confirm.
iPhone or iPad
- Open SkyStudy in Safari (installing only works in Safari on iPhone and iPad).
- Tap the Share button (a square with an up-arrow) in the toolbar.
- Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then tap Add.
Safari on Mac
- Click the Share button in the Safari toolbar.
- Choose Add to Dock (needs macOS Sonoma or newer).
- On older macOS, install with Chrome or Edge instead.
Firefox
- Firefox on a computer cannot install web apps.
- Open this page in Chrome, Edge, or Brave to install in one click.
- On Firefox for Android, open the menu (three dots) and tap Install.
Study offline. Once installed, open the Offline tab inside SkyStudy and download the subjects you want. Your answers sync automatically the next time you are online.

Yes. It installs to your device with its own icon and opens in its own window, no browser tabs. It is the same SkyStudy, so it always stays up to date by itself, with no app store and no big download.

Yes. After you install it, open the Offline tab inside the app and download the subjects you want. You can then study those questions with no internet, and your answers sync when you are back online.

Some browsers (Firefox on desktop, and Safari) do not let a website start the install, so you use a short menu step instead. Installs are also per browser: installing SkyStudy in one browser does not install it in another, and installing on one device does not install it on your other devices.

Installing uses very little space because it is a small web app, not a large program. Downloading questions for offline study uses a bit more, and the Offline tab shows exactly how much is stored on your device.
