No-Endorsement Notice
SkyStudy is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, or certified by EASA, the German Federal Aviation Office (Luftfahrt-Bundesamt, LBA), any other National Aviation Authority, or any Approved Training Organisation.
SkyStudy references public ATPL(A) learning-objective and syllabus material to map practice content to the official subject structure. This page identifies the main official-source families referenced by the product and clarifies the difference between SkyStudy-owned original practice content and official-source text.
Official Source Families
- EASA ED Decision 2020/018/R, including Amendment 10 ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge material and related public annex material.
- Annex II to EASA ED Decision 2016/008/R and related public ATPL(A) learning-objective publications made available by EASA.
- EASA TK Syllabus Comparison Document v6, used to map and verify ATPL(A) syllabus references.
- EASA ECQB public update and sample materials, used to verify syllabus references (SkyStudy questions are not actual ECQB exam questions).
- German LBA public ATPL(A) learning-objective publications, including `Lernziele_neu` and the `LOs-FDB-*` source family.
EASA and LBA source notices captured on 2026-05-31 state that reproduction is authorised, provided the source is acknowledged, save where otherwise stated.
How SkyStudy Uses These Sources
- To map practice questions to syllabus references and official learning objectives.
- To display an attributed official learning-objective excerpt or reference where the product chooses to show that context.
- To validate coverage of the public ATPL(A) syllabus structure while keeping the practice-question wording separate from the official source wording.
Ownership And Attribution Boundary
SkyStudy claims ownership only over its original practice-question layer, including question stems, answer options, distractors, explanations, software, branding, and product design. Official-source learning-objective wording remains attributable to its original public source. Where SkyStudy reproduces or paraphrases an official learning objective excerpt, that excerpt is presented as official-source material rather than as SkyStudy-owned text.
Original Practice Questions
SkyStudy question content is AI-assisted original content created under the direction of Toma Florin Cristi, with internal review. The question stems, answer options, distractors, explanations, release formatting, and product packaging are SkyStudy's own original content.
These questions are not official EASA exam questions, not actual ECQB exam questions, and not an official question bank provided by EASA, LBA, or any National Aviation Authority.
Use Of Names And References
References to EASA, LBA, ATPL(A), syllabus codes, and official learning-objective publications are descriptive only. They identify the public-source framework used for syllabus mapping and attribution. They do not imply sponsorship, partnership, approval, certification, or endorsement.
Third-Party Media Attribution
The 3D Earth on our homepage, and the pre-rendered still images of it, use planet texture maps by Solar System Scope (INOVE), based on NASA imagery and elevation data, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. The textures were resized and converted to web formats for delivery; no endorsement by the licensor is implied.
Every voice you hear in our ICAO English listening exercises is synthesised from scripts we wrote. No recording of a real pilot or controller is used, and no person’s voice was cloned. The audio is generated with Kokoro, an open-weight text-to-speech model released under the Apache License 2.0. Its French voice derives from the SIWIS speech dataset, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence, and the Kokoro training set also includes the Koniwa tnc corpus under CC BY 3.0. No endorsement by any of these licensors is implied.
The air traffic control voices in our ATC Comms simulator are synthesised with ElevenLabs under a paid subscription that carries a commercial licence. These are likewise synthetic voices, not recordings of real transmissions.
