Free while SkyStudy is in beta, with no card and no trial. As individual tools mature some of them move to paid plans, and nothing that is free today starts charging without notice being published on this page first. Use while it was free is never billed retroactively.
Not open yet: the AI mock examiner
- AI mock interviews (25 sessions per account) with a per-criterion report that quotes your own words back as the evidence
This part opens when SkyStudy leaves beta. It is the one piece that costs money to run every time somebody uses it, so it is not something the project can give away while it has no revenue. Everything else on this page is open now.
How the mock examiner grades, and what it cannot tell you is written up in full, and it is worth reading before you sit one rather than after.

What the course is not
It is self-study material, not an assessment and not an examination. Only an assessor approved by a competent authority can rate your ICAO level, and the course completion certificate records that you finished this course and nothing more. Native speakers are not automatically level 6 either: ICAO's own guidance is that every pilot is assessed.
SkyStudy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by any language test provider or licensing authority. The course teaches aviation English skills and general test-taking structure; it does not reproduce proprietary test content, and it does not award, predict, or guarantee any ICAO level or any test result.
