This measures perceptual focus and field independence: picking a known shape out of a busy pattern that disguises it. It rewards holding a target form steady against visual clutter.
How to improve your score
- Keep the target shape clearly in mind and overlay it mentally on the figure.
- Trace edges and ignore lines that do not belong to your shape.
- Check orientation, the hidden figure is usually the same size and angle as shown.
